At The Bond Between, we believe in protecting the powerful connection between people and their pets. The Bond Between Pet Food Shelf is designed to support this bond by providing free to low cost pet food and essential supplies to community members facing financial hardship.

The Bond Between Pet food shelf in Minneapolis

The goal of this service is singular and vital: to address the root cause of animal homelessness. We want to  ensure that no pet goes hungry or is separated from their loving family due to economic constraints. The Bond Between supports pet owners during their hardship through social services like our pet food shelf and low cost vetting clinics in communities without access to vet care. These efforts cause ripple effects in the community that keeps animals with the people who love them. In turn, less animals end up in shelters in need of rescue so we can focus on truly homeless pets.

The Bond Between Pet Food Shelf is currently accessible to residents who live within the city limits of Minneapolis. For those living outside of Minneapolis, we allow families to shop once every six months. Please note that The Bond Between cannot guarantee the continuous availability of specific food types or supplies at our food shelf, as our inventory relies on community donations.

Our dedicated Community Solutions team actively partners with various organizations that provide low to no cost dog and cat food assistance. We encourage you to utilize the resources listed below. You can contact them directly to confirm eligibility requirements and obtain the most up-to-date information on their services.
