Welcoming 30 Ridglan Beagles into their new life at The Bond Between

Earlier this week, The Bond Between welcomed 30 beagles as part of a larger effort to help them begin a new chapter. When they arrived, they were exactly what you might expect from animals stepping into a brand-new world. They were shy, apprehensive, gentle, and so incredibly sweet. There were small, quiet moments that felt big... tiny tail wags, cautious steps forward, soft curiosity. You could see them taking it all in, trying to understand what was happening, unsure but open.

And now, just days later, their world has already started to shift.

Each one of these dogs is in a foster home, being given the space and patience they need to begin adjusting at their own pace. There’s no rush for them to be anything other than what they are in this moment. Some are still hesitant, some are starting to explore, and all of them are learning, piece by piece, what it means to relax. They are learning how to drink from water bowls. They are learning that rest can be peaceful. They are learning that people can give really good snuggles.

In the coming weeks, when they are ready, these beagles will take the next step in their journey and become available for adoption. That next chapter will be just as important as this one.
